We’ve made some exciting updates to bring you even more starting 06/01/2023. Whether you’re stepping on the mats for the first time or looking to refine your skills, there’s something here for everyone.

New Additions Include:

NEW! Kids Level up Program: A fun, 8-week self-defence program per term, based on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Private Training on Saturdays:
Private sessions from 6 AM, available by some of our coaches.
Conditioning Classes for Muay Thai: Build fitness, sharpen fundamentals, and strengthen your body to handle sparring and clinching.
Muay Thai Fighter Sessions: Now held in the evenings for better accessibility.
Extended Muay Thai Sparring on Friday: Sparring sessions now run until 7 PM on Friday nights.

More BJJ & NoGi Fundamental Classes: We now offer them at 6 PM on Monday and Friday.
Advanced Leglock Classes: For coloured ranks only, focusing on in-depth leglock and complex techniques.
Invitation Only Comp Classes: Coach-invited sessions for competitors to refine their skills on Mondays and Fridays at 10 AM.
Women-Only BJJ and NoGi Classes: These classes are not fixed on the timetable and are organised independently based on demand and availability.

Please Note: If this is your first time with us, you MUST sign the Waiver Form when you arrive and before joining any class.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to book a class before I come?

If you’re dropping in for a Casual Class or using a Trial Pass, there’s no need to book — just show up! You’re welcome to join any of our scheduled classes.

 

If you’re on a 2 or 3-Class Pass, bookings are required for each class you attend.

For those with an Unlimited or Unlimited Single Style membership, bookings are not currently required.

 

Please Note: If it’s your first time training with us, you must sign the Waiver Form upon arrival and before joining any class.

What should I wear for training?

We ask that you wear comfortable and breathable clothing for contact activities.

 

DO NOT wear clothing that has:
• Zippers
• Pockets
• Buttons
• Bras with underwires

 

We highly recommend you remove jewellery and piercings to avoid injuries to yourself and others.

Important: Shoes MUST be worn at all times off the mats. Failure to comply will result in no training for the day.

What do I need to bring?

For ALL classes students must have the following:
• Mouth Guard
• Water Bottle
• Shoes (Shoes MUST be worn at all times off the mats. Failure to comply will result in no training for the day.)
• Towel (optional)

 

For Muay Thai you will need to bring your own:
• Mouth Guard
• Boxing Gloves
• Shin Pads
• Hand Wraps

 

For Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, you will need to bring your own:
• Mouth Guard
• Gi/Kimono
• BJJ Belt representing your rank

 

For NoGi Grappling, we recommend that you have
• Mouth Guard
• Clothing that has NO pockets, zippers or buttons

 

Please Note: If you’re a new member on a Trial, you’re exempt from supplying your own equipment during the trial period. After your trial ends, you will be required to bring your own gear.

Do you have kids classes?

Yes! We run a variety of Kids and Teens classes throughout the week, including Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and NoGi sessions.

What is the Kids Level Up Program?

The Kids Level Up Program is a fun and structured 8-week self-defence program designed to build your child’s confidence, discipline, and self-defence skills through game-based training derived from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. With two classes per week and an end-of-term grading BBQ, it’s the perfect way for kids to stay active, make friends, and level up their skills!

Do you have women-only classes?

Yes! We offer women-only classes for Muay Thai, BJJ, and NoGi.

Please see our Timetable for more information.

Please note: The women-only BJJ and NoGi classes are not listed on the timetable, as they are organised independently based on demand and scheduling.

What type of memberships do you have?

Memberships we offer are:
• Unlimited (on-going),
• 2 and 3-Class Passes
• Casual Classes (pay-as-you-go),
• New Starter Trial for 18 years and over;
• One Week FREE Trial – For under 18 yr olds only.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes! We offer special discounts for emergency and defence workers. You can find more information on our Membership page.

Do you offer free trials?

Yes! If you’re under 18 and curious about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Muay Thai, you’re welcome to enjoy a one-time FREE trial – a great way to see if it’s the right fit for you before jumping in.

 

For adults 18 and over, we offer an exclusive New Starter Trial that gives you full access to our Unlimited Membership for two weeks. It’s the perfect way to experience the full Ground Zero Gym vibe and training community before committing.

 

Please note: our Kids Level Up Program does not include free trials, as it’s a premium, structured program packed with exclusive perks and giveaways, separate from our standard memberships.

Is there parking available?

Yes! We have limited off-street parking available, and there is plenty of street parking nearby. However, please be aware that street parking times do change during stadium events, so be sure to check the signs before parking.

Do you have showers?

Yes, we do!

Our showers are available for use with a 5-minute time limit per person to ensure fair access for everyone.

  • Soap is provided — please do not bring or use personal soap.
  • No glassware or shaving is permitted in the shower area.
  • Please dry off before exiting the shower stall and make sure to clean up after yourself.
